'A GENEROUS CLUB'

says LINEDANCER magazine

We recently held a social disco

with Tony Rouse as the guest artist

for the evening.

With a full house and choreographer

Kim Ray also in the audience the floor

was always going to be full.

 

Country Roots donate proceeds

from the raffle to charitable organizations

and this time collected £100 for a local

'Riding for the Disabled' school.

 

We have also supported :-

The Cystic Fibrosis Trust

A local Care home for the Elderly

Neonatal Unit at Bedford Hospital                                              Mike         Isla         Tony Rouse        Kathleen

COUNTRY ROOTS GOES INTERNATIONAL                           
Country Roots entertained Bedford Rotary club, who were hosting their twin Rotary club from France.

It consisted of a Hog Roast in a farmers’ barn near Bedford.

We danced to around 100 Rotarians and they enthusiastically learned 3 dances.

A significant donations was made to the charity of Kathleens’ choice, which was
THE NEONATAL UNIT at BEDFORD HOSPITAL

 

The raffles held during our disco evenings are held to benefit charities and for 2005 all proceeds went to THE NEONATAL UNIT at BEDFORD HOSPITAL.

COUNTRY ROOTS LINEDANCE CLUB are proud to say that almost £700 was raised and donated to this unit. - Thank you all very much for your support.
